ABC News Queensland: As residents in cities and towns around Queensland dealt with the worst flooding crisis the state has experienced in more than 30 years, help was at hand.


Thousands of people rolled their sleeves up, saving property and sometimes lives as floodwaters rushed through the area, and then helping with the clean-up afterwards. And the work continues.
